Terms of Service

LighthouseRobot is a website performance monitoring service that provides automated Google Lighthouse audits. The service:

• Runs automated Lighthouse audits on URLs you specify
• Tracks Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO scores
• Provides historical data and performance trends
• Offers leaderboards to compare multiple websites
• Allows sharing results via public links
• Integrates with AI assistants via the MCP server and API tokens

LighthouseRobot is provided completely free of charge. As a free beta service:

• No uptime guarantee: The service may be unavailable at any time without notice
• No data retention guarantee: Data may be lost or deleted
• No accuracy guarantee: Lighthouse scores may vary and are provided for informational purposes only
• No support guarantee: Support is provided on a best-effort basis
• Service may change or end: Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time

You should not rely on this service for business-critical decisions without independent verification.

To use LighthouseRobot, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide a valid email address for authentication
• Use the service in compliance with applicable laws

Access to LighthouseRobot requires authentication via:

• Email OTP: One-time password sent to your email address
• API Tokens: For programmatic access and AI integrations
• Email and password: An optional password you can set on your account

You are responsible for keeping your authentication credentials secure. Do not share API tokens publicly.

LighthouseRobot requests a public page the way a browser or a search engine does, through Google’s PageSpeed Insights API: three runs, once every 24 hours, and the median is kept. That is three page loads a day per monitored site — less than a single crawler visit. Measuring a page that anyone can open is not something you need permission for, and the service does not fetch anything a visitor could not fetch themselves.

You agree to use LighthouseRobot only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Monitor pages that are not publicly reachable, such as anything behind a login
• Keep monitoring a site after its owner has asked you to stop
• Use the service to attack, overload, or harm other websites
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the API
• Use automated tools to create excessive accounts or requests
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying code
• Use the service for any illegal activity

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.

LighthouseRobot integrates with third-party services:

• Google PageSpeed Insights API: Used to perform Lighthouse audits
• Resend: Delivers score-drop alert emails, if you enable them
• Claude (Anthropic): Available via MCP server and API tokens

When using these integrations, you are also subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

You retain ownership of the URLs and website data you submit to LighthouseRobot. By using the service, you grant us permission to:

• Access and audit the URLs you specify
• Store audit results and historical data
• Display your data in leaderboards and dashboards
• Share your data via public links if you enable sharing

The LighthouseRobot name, logo, and service are the property of the operator. Lighthouse is a trademark of Google. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be available at all times
• The service will be error-free or secure
• Audit results will be accurate or consistent
• The service will meet your specific requirements

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Since this is a free service, our total liability is limited to zero (€0).

You may stop using the service at any time. You can request account deletion by contacting us.

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these terms or discontinuation of the service.

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all data processing activities.
